Graduates from the MA/MS in Special Education earn two added authorizations. One in Reading and Literacy and a specialty area of their choice: Early Childhood Special Education or Adapted Physical Education. Or you can also choose to do an in-depth dive into Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Traumatic Brain Injury, or Orthopedic Impairment. Candidates who have completed our Masters in Special Education have become leaders on their campuses by being program specialists, leaders in inclusion, and leaders in multi-tiered systems of support.
