Clinical Practice Information
Candidates in the AASE’s are required to complete the fieldwork as part of their AASE specialization. All placements are executed by a PLNU Field Experience Coordinator and are designed to meet California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements. You will be contacted via email to complete the fieldwork verification form so be sure to look for it once you finish reviewing onboarding.
Required Prerequisites to enter into fieldwork:

- California Fingerprint and Background Clearance (COC)
- Liability Insurance (union membership card)
- Health Clearance (TB Test)
- FERPA Training (certificate of completion)
- Name of district MOU contact, only if requested by Fieldwork Coordinator
- Submit Fieldwork prerequisites to soeforms@pointloma.edu
