Fieldwork Information

Candidates in the AA’s are required to complete the fieldwork as part of their AA specialization. All placements are executed by a PLNU Placement Coordinator and are designed to meet California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements. You will be contacted via email to complete the fieldwork verification form so be sure to look for it once you finish reviewing onboarding.

Required Prerequisites to enter into fieldwork:

    • California Fingerprint and Background Clearance (COC)
    • Liability Insurance (union membership card)
    • Health Clearance (TB Test)
    • FERPA Training (certificate of completion)
    • Name of district MOU contact, only if requested by Placement Coordinator
    • Submit Fieldwork prerequisites to soeforms@pointloma.edu
