Hello!
My name is Marrilee Boldt; I am married and have four beautiful children. Our family lives in Chula Vista, where my husband is a worship pastor at a local church. I have been enjoying my role as Office Manager and Fieldwork Coordinator on the main campus for our School of Education department since 2017.
One of my favorites things about my job is getting the opportunity to interact with our PLNU students; hearing their success and classroom stories and encouraging them along their education and faith journey!
As the fieldwork coordinator for the undergraduate program, my advice to students beginning fieldwork would be; remember, these are not just hours that you need to complete for your coursework, rather, these are the beginning experiences of your vocational calling; connections you are making and student lives you are encouraging. Observe and serve with that lens and you will be on your way as an excellent future educator! Oh yes, and read your emails 🙂
